About the Company We are currently looking for a Supply Chain/ Procurement Analyst to work with one of our O&G clients in Rio de Janeiro: The Supply Chain/ Procurement Analyst will be responsible for the EA Procurement Staff, assisting the EA Procurement Staff to complete the implementation of Procurement Strategy and Procurement Plan, participating in the bidding & evaluation process, completing the preparation and maintenance of Procurement Status Report, report to the EA Procurement Staff regularly, assist the EA Procurement Staff to communicate with suppliers, establish and maintain supplier relationships, Receive and interview vendor representatives to keep abreast of developments, negotiate prices, service, quality or other matters and complete other tasks arranged by EA Procurement Staff. Job Responsibilities Responsible for the preparation and implementation of Procurement Strategy and Procurement Plan. Prepare RFQ /RFP packages for issuance to bidders and send packages to bidders. Expedite submission of bids to ensure they are received on time as per bid submission dates or extended bid submission time as needed. Coordinate responses to vendor clarifications, wherever appropriate. Attend meetings with bidders and other disciplines as necessary. Negotiate with potential successful bidders to obtain the best-cost option while maintaining quality and compliance with project specifications. Perform commercial evaluation of bids and prepare the Recommendation for Award for approval for placement of Letter of Intent / Purchase Order. Maintain procurement status report, accurate for submission to EA Procurement Staff. Establish and maintain suppliers’ relationships, including communications and negotiations with suppliers. Receive and interview vendor representatives to keep abreast of developments, negotiate prices, service, quality, or other matters. Learn & master supply chain management regulations. Complete other tasks assigned by EA Procurement Staff. Qualifications & Skills Supply Chain Management, Management, Business or Engineering degree. Familiar with Supply Chain Management process, local laws, and regulations, as well as international industry standards, etc. Previous experience in Supply Chain Management or related work. Good organization, cooperation, communication, and judgment skills. Proficiency use of office software, such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, etc. Comply with company rules and regulations, good professionalism and professional ethics, strong sense of confidentiality.
