Job Purpose

Prepare and be aligned with the coordination of equipment projects for onshore and offshore use, meeting customer requirements and current rules with optimized quality standards, costs and deadlines and ensuring the records and organization of engineering documents.

Job Description

Design of offshore/subsea structures and equipment

Interprets and critically analyzes customer specifications;

Develops and/or executes the proposed production planning, identifying optimization opportunities;

Prepares equipment projects ensuring their compliance with customer requirements, applicable standards and current design rules;

Promotes continuous improvement of projects;

Identifies knowledge related to new technologies and products that can add value to design;

Apply cost driver fundamentals to design, raw material specifications and manufacturing processes;

Identifies sustainability, energy saving and ergometry requirements aiming for high performance of the designed equipment;

Ensures the quality and availability of engineering documents;

Uses department resources sustainably and based on budget;

Uses and provides knowledge about design and calculation tools, applications, good practices and other rules and standards with ease.

Contributes to the team's motivational climate;

Develops design rules, instructions and procedures.

You are meant for this job if:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering

CREA

Advanced English

Experience in equipment projects

Experience with projects of subsea structures and/or equipment, Experience in manufacturing processes.

Experience as a FEA User - Ansys

Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Inventor desirable
