Job Description

What you’ll do:

Work together to plan changes and structure new processes that refer to the best practices for using and architecting MySQL Databases.
Identify structural improvements in the Database and queries that affect the performance and full operation of aggregated systems.
Document clearly and concisely the activities carried out, providing detailed reports to the technical leader.
Develop effective and innovative solutions based on task proposals provided by the technical leader.
Provide guidance and support to teammates when necessary, sharing knowledge and best practices.
Carry out thorough reviews of codes submitted to task repositories under the responsibility of the team, ensuring quality and compliance with established standards.

Qualifications

What will make you a good fit:

Proven experience in development using PHP, MySQL, GIT, Docker, and Swagger.
Proven experience with Query Tuning to enhance database performance.
Advanced experience in schema design, data modelling, defining relationships between different data entities, indexing strategies to improve query performance, normalisation and denormalisation, partitioning and optimisation.
Proficient in cloud services with AWS and RDS.
Database Security: Experience implementing security practices, including data encryption, access control, and auditing.
Proven ability in self-management, demonstrating the ability to prioritize and efficiently manage multiple tasks.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proactive attitude and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to quickly learn new technologies and concepts.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in advanced English (min B2 Level).

Nice to have:

ASP (Classic).
Reliability and Disaster Recovery: Experience with backup and restore, failover, and high availability strategies, ensuring that database systems are always available.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Knowledge of managing and automating database infrastructure using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Knowledge of Observability and Monitoring.
Automation and Scripting: Proficient in automating routine tasks and database processes using scripts (Bash, Python).

A salary adequate to your experience and skills between R$8,000.00 and R$15,000.00 BRL. "The range is broad so that we can accommodate our roles for all levels of experience, but we will show you the career ladder to explain where we see your skills and impact within the company." Remote or hybrid work model.
Our working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 6 pm.
