Requisitos:

Job Title: Regional Sales Director
Location: Remote/Home based - based in California (near airport for frequent travel)

Purpose of Role: The Regional Sales Director will oversee the sales activities of a team of field representatives (8-10) within a designated region. Leading efforts to promote and sell our comprehensive product portfolio, this role focuses on driving growth by collaborating with audiologists, physicians, retail chains, and hospitals.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Direct, coach, and manage performance of the sales team to achieve regional goals
  • Develop synchronized account strategies and sales plans
  • Collaborate with Clinical Training to enhance team competency in Phonak technology
  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop sales staff as necessary
  • Monitor team effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed
  • Achieve assigned sales quotas in specified territories
  • Implement tracking systems for progress and forecasting
  • Design and execute compensation programs and promotions
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and rapport within the region
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to meet company sales objectives
  • Serve as a liaison between field team and headquarters
  • Regularly travel with team to mentor and evaluate performance
  • Provide ongoing updates to VP of Commercial Sales
  • Represent Phonak at national and regional meetings

Education and Skillset:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s or Doctorate in Audiology preferred
  • 2+ years’ experience in field sales management
  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience in medical devices; selling to retail a plus
  • Proven success in leading and developing high-performing teams
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Self-motivated with a focus on customer relationship building
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems
  • Ability to travel overnight about 50%
