**About IP Optical Networks**

Our IP/Optical Networks business group (ION) includes IP, optical and network automation technologies and related services sold to our communication service provider customers as well as adjacent markets including webscale companies and enterprises. Our comprehensive wide area networking (WAN) solutions enable our customers to build and operate automated, secure, and high-performance networks at massive scale - helping to interconnect people and things from any broadband access modality to - and among - edge clouds, central clouds, the Internet, and other services and data centers.

**Job Responsibilities & Competencies**

Leading and executing validation tests of new solutions and being a trust advisor for the customer during all project delivery;
Supporting and testing configurations in controlled enviroment;
Excuting pilots (FOC) troubleshooting during first deployment;
support, leading and teaching outsourced enginners on rollout integration activities, controlling and monitoring the quality technically;
Defining and execute assessement activities for live network interventions based on strategies previously defined;
Understand and following customer needs, schedule agreements and cost control responsibility, respecting safety & healthy environmental requirements with high level performance;
According to project needs travelling to other cities and foreign countries is possible;
Provides onsite and/or back office support for international projects;
Attending meetings and workshops, flexible working attitude according to project needs

**Qualifications**

"Degree in Computer, Electronics, Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent.
Leadership ability for System integration solutions and 3rd party team for technical issues.
Ability to support Technical PM, customer and PM to review activities definitions and demands to support platforms and servers implementation and/or migration planning, defining detail and phases based on technical and project priorities;
Analyze Management systems and IP Network High level Dersign to develop test plans to validate all solution's scenarios and features proposed, to be able to execute the system deployment, using it for knowledge transfer for integration teams and customer teams;
Advanced practical knowledge on systems solutions designing and implementation about: Oracle, phyton, perl, XML northbound integration, linux (many flavors), shell script, hardening, openstack, VmWare, virtualization, KVM, APIs, OSS, automation tools, etc.

Desirable Knowledge on: QoS; IPv4/IPv6 routing; Logical solutions for services protection and redundancy; Mobile and Packet Core solution (SGSN, GGSN, ePC, RNC, BSC, AAA, DNS, PCRF, HLR/HSS/UDRs and others);
Advanced level English language;
Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines;
Willingness to learn new things with a good attitude;
Customer service, communication and problem-solving skills;
Minimum of 7 years experience in System integration.
