Purpose of the Role:

The Junior Process Safety Engineer will work on the will work on the loss prevention and Risk Management.

This position is allocated at Rio de Janeiro office.

Job Functions:

• Collaborate in the creation and implementation of PSM information for all offshore units, including, but not limited to PHA/HAZID and management of change.
• Lead (minor) risk analysis activities using PHA methodologies such as (What-if, HAZIDs, HAZOPs, etc.) for MOCs.
• Collaborate in audit of process safety management systems and execute risk mitigation corrective actions.
• Follow up risk evaluations, recommendations, and analysis and Support on safety critical elements management.
• SGSO, SGIP, SGSS, IOGP 510, implantation support.
• Be aware of standards and technical requirements associated with the field including specific plant requirements and risk analysis.
• Support the implementation of HSE Management System and Procedures.

Required Qualification and Experience:

• Chemical or Petroleum Engineering degree.
• 2 years of experience in the O&G industry.
• Previous experience with Risk Analysis.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft office (Excel, Word and Powerpoint).
• Post degree in Process Safety is a plus.
