About Eliis:

Eliis is a global leader in geoscience software solutions, known for our flagship product, PaleoScan, which enhances seismic interpretation workflows for the Oil & Gas industry. We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated IT Support professional to support our growing operations in the Americas. This role involves supporting both our internal IT infrastructure and providing client support across the Americas.

Key Responsibilities:

IT Support & Network Administration:

  • Configure and maintain NAS systems to ensure secure data storage and access.
  • Set up and manage secure VPNs for remote access across our regional offices and for clients.

DevOps & Web Services:

  • Install, configure, and maintain Docker for microservices architecture to support our software and internal tools ( Azure, AWS environment)
  • Collaborate on the deployment and automation of internal and client-facing services.

System Administration:

  • Provide day-to-day system administration support, ensuring the smooth operation of Windows environments.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues for both internal users and clients.
  • Implement security best practices, including regular updates, backups, and access control management.

Client Support:

  • Offer remote and onsite technical support to clients across the Americas, ensuring timely resolution of issues related to network, software, or system configurations.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work in close collaboration with the IT Manager based in Montpellier, France, using English for regular communication.
  • Liaise with local clients in Spanish or Portuguese for technical support and troubleshooting.
  • Report and follow up with the Product Team on any issues related to the software.

Required Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in IT support, system administration, and/or network administration roles.
  • Proven experience with NAS systems, VPN , and network troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of Docker and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with Linux and Windows server environments.

Data Management :

  • Experience with data management best practices, including data storage, retrieval, and backup procedures.
  • Understanding of database management systems (DBMS) and data security protocols.
  • Ability to work with structured and unstructured data, ensuring data integrity and consistency across different systems.

Skills:

  • Solid understanding of network security and data protection protocols.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose issues quickly.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to work independently and collaborate with remote teams.
  • Experience working with DevOps tools and web services is highly preferred.
  • Ability to travel as needed for onsite client support across the Americas.

Languages : English and Spanish or Portuguese (fluent).
