DevOps Engineer – Rio de Janeiro
Requisitos:
Macher Tecnologia is recruiting one hands-on one DevOps Engineer to support one of its clients developing software technologies for the transportation industry.
As the work will be performed globally, English (business / fluent) is a must-have.
The selected professional will join us at our Rio de Janeiro office, on a remote setting, at Caxias do Sul or at Porto Alegre. Only candidates from these locations will be considered.
As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll play a criJcal role in our team, ensuring seamless deployment,
monitoring, and maintenance of our clients' user-facing Mobile Video applications for Transit. Your
expertise in DevOps practices will drive efficiency, reliability, and scalability across our systems.
Responsibilities:
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
o Collaborate with development teams to define infrastructure requirements.
o Implement and manage infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or
CloudFormation.
• Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):
o Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
o Automate deployment processes for frontend and backend services.
• Monitoring and Alerting:
o Set up monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic) to track system
performance.
o Configure alerts and respond to incidents promptly.
• Security and Compliance:
o Implement security best practices for infrastructure and applications.
o Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
• Cloud Services:
o Work with hosted and cloud (Azure) to manage resources.
o Optimize costs and scalability.
• Collaboration:
o Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline
processes.
o Participate in cross-functional discussions and planning.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles.
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
• CI/CD tools (Azure Dev Ops, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD etc.).
• Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Scripting (Bash, Python, etc.).
• Cloud platforms, automating infrastructure and application deployment (Azure experience preferred)
• Monitoring and alerting tools
• Security practices for applications in hosted or cloud environments
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certified DevOps professional
• CKA / CKAD
• Experience with Infrastructure automation using Kubernetes and Infrastructure resilience and disaster recovery
