Partner with the best

The will be responsible for providing technical expertise, leadership, and governance to a range of activities related to the design and adoption of Baker Hughes Control System solutions in subsea equipment projects in Brazil and abroad.

As a Controls Engineer , you will be responsible for:

  • Leading all applicable Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality requirements
  • Developing and executing scopes in line with customer and project requirements and priorities
  • Assisting in engineering planning and forecasting activities
  • Executing activities to ensure “on time” delivery to the customer, according to project schedule
  • Contributing to documentation production and review
  • Assisting the Project Engineering Manager in customer engagements related to their area of expertise
  • Interacting with a global multidisciplinary team

    To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in Control Systems Engineering, Industrial Computer Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Have technical experience in related industry (preferably in Oil & Gas industry)
  • Have computer skills (MS Office package and knowledge in AutoCAD and CREO)
  • Be fluent in (or have an advanced understanding of) English
  • Have the ability to interpret engineering drawings/specifications and manufacturing processes
  • Have good communication and interpersonal relationship building skills
  • Have knowledge in Project Management
  • Have the ability to work with cross-functional teams and independently
  • Have good analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Have availability to travel up to 30% of your time
  • Have the ability to work and interact with a multi-disciplinary team (including geographically dispersed)
  • Have the ability to synthesize information, identify problems, evaluate facts, and define solutions
  • Possess good verbal/written communication and presentation skills
