Requisitos:
Evaluate the development and improvement of chemicals used in a variety of manufacturing systems to meet customer needs and assist in solving application problems.
• Perform testing of raw materials and new alternatives to improve product performance and minimize formulation costs. After evaluation by the manager, implement alternative raw materials in existing products.
• Carry out defined chemical tests and trials to assist in responses and resolve customer product issues.
• Carry out analysis and testing of products used by customers.
• Perform analytical tests to determine the quantitative and qualitative composition of raw materials, formulations, competitor products and other chemical samples collected from customers.
• Determine the performance characteristics of competing products using physical, instrumental and wet analysis techniques.
• Record and clearly order all observations and data. Following guidance, prepare reports in a clear and concise manner to improve technical exchange.
• Implement analysis methods to improve performance, R&R and field efficiency.
• Provide technical service and make your knowledge available to customers and associates in the commercial area based on Chemistry I's current level of expertise. Visit customers when necessary to assist the commercial team.
• Keep equipment, displays and workspace organized, clean and working well. Correctly dispose of all waste generated in the laboratory in accordance with the prescribed procedures.
• Participate in ensuring good management of laboratory equipment and storage spaces for chemicals and primary materials. Comply with cleaning rules and related programs.
• Train and guide Chemists I, laboratory technicians and interns in performing routine analyzes in the Development Laboratory.
• Provide manufacturing assistance to improve the quality and efficiency of the manufacturing process. Assist in manufacturing and quality control laboratory in resolving quality and production issues.
• Ensure that all equipment and machines used in your area of ??activities are managed with regard to safety, maintenance, facilities and availability.
• Carry out development of cooperation projects with a variety of internal and external contacts.
What are we looking for?
• Experience: This position requires at least a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or similar higher education.
• Proficiency in English is preferable. Ability to read, analyze and interpret scientific journals and common technical articles
• To carry out this job successfully, you must have knowledge of the Office suite, database software. Knowledge of the JDE system is preferred.
