Position: Category Sales Lead – Accommodation Solutions

As the Category Sales Lead for Accommodation Solutions , you will drive business growth, build lasting client relationships, and meet sales targets. This role focuses on accommodation solutions such as flooring, lighting, doors, and windows for ships and platforms, and plays a crucial part in the success of our business in the maritime and offshore sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the maritime and offshore industry's accommodation needs.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong connections with key clients to deliver exceptional service and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Business Development: Identify new supplier opportunities with established Brazilian end-customers.
- Sales Target Achievement: Set, meet, and exceed sales targets, contributing to the company's overall growth.
Recquired Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Administration, International Relations, Production Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in the maritime and offshore industry, with experience in sales, supply chain, or technical areas.
- Technical Expertise: Knowledge and experience with accommodation solutions such as flooring, lighting, doors, and windows for ships and offshore platforms in Brazil.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant system tools.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English (spoken and written).
- Location: Based in Rio de Janeiro or willing to relocate.
Key Attributes:
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Goal-oriented with a drive to exceed sales targets.
- Experience with OIC, platform owners, shipowners, and shipyards is advantageous.
- Familiarity with CRM/ERPs, international logistics, import/export, and hosting exhibitions/events is a plus.
- Knowledge of procurement platforms like Petronect, SAP Ariba, Coupa, and Shipserv is an advantage.
