Job description:
The Key Account Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key customers and accounts, in collaboration with the Hospital Manager and Head of Sales, ensuring long-term success of the portfolio at both company and account levels.
Major Accountabilities:
Develop key customers and accounts in alignment with the Hospital Manager and Head of Sales to support the long-term success of the product portfolio.
Build strong relationships with Key Accounts, including physicians, nurses, and pharmacists, to ensure effective communication of scientific and medical information.
Execute the company’s pricing strategy by effectively communicating it to hospital and clinic pharmacists.
Participate in projects and initiatives that enhance the value and productivity of the sales team and product portfolio.
Promote and distribute existing products, as well as introduce new products in line with the marketing and sales strategy.
Achieve sales targets, including market share, sales volume, and frequency of visits, and provide regular reports on progress to your superior.
Conduct regular customer visits with efficient frequency and monitor stock levels.
Propose new business opportunities within the assigned territory to expand customer relationships.
Perform territory, competitor, and customer analyses using analytical tools, and create targeted action plans.
Participate in training, educational courses, and conferences for continuous professional development.
Update customer master data and administrative documentation, providing regular reports to your superior.
Conduct price negotiations at target accounts in accordance with the company's pricing strategy.
Minimum Experience:
3-5 years of successful experience as a Key Account Manager.
Existing contacts with relevant customer bases.
Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and healthcare policy environment.
Skills & Competencies:
Excellent communication and persuasion skills, with a track record of closing sales.
Self-motivated with strong sales ambition.
Willingness for continuous professional development, especially in the CNS area.
Structured and systematic work approach with a high degree of independence.
Hands-on mentality with strong problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, Word) and CRM systems.
