Objective:

Establish and facilitate a strong bridge between our part-owned entities in Brazil and our Headquarters in Oslo.

Responsibilities:

  • Be a key contributor in the business performance analysis of our portfolio of Brazilian part-owned entities;
  • Be a key contributor in developing and maintaining project financials reporting, including budget, liquidity forecast, revenue/cost analysis and other relevant reporting for our portfolio of Brazilian part-owned entities as projects companies transition to operations;
  • Assessment of accounting matters related to Brazilian business activity, ensuring compliance with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards);
  • Bridging the complexity of the Brazilian Tax and Legal system with IFRS and internal reporting;
  • Ensure consistent application of accounting principles/REIN specific policy across our portfolio of part-owned entities in Brazil;
  • Support the broader Hydro REIN portfolio in the application of accounting principles and consolidation;
  • Support global application of accounting principles and consolidation as relevant.

Academic Background:

  • Business Administration or Accounting Degree;
  • Specialization in accounting/IFRS.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in Financial Controlling area;
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English is mandatory;
  • Experience from the Power/Renewables Industry beneficial;
  • Experience in working with more complex organizational structures and exerting influence through committee work on behalf of Board of Directors.
