Job Description

  • Ability to troubleshoot electronic circuits do the component level (resistor, capacitor, diode, IC etc.)
  • Ensure that all installations, repair, calibrations and modifications to the electrical systems and components are carried out in accordance with company policies and regulatory laws.
  • Maintain and repair electronic systems in relation to Surface equipment and drilling package instrumentation and electronics.
  • Carry out installation, calibration and modification to electronic systems and components as per TFMC maintenance standards.
  • Basic skills in soldering and assembling of electronic and electro/mechanical devices.
  • Proficient in the use of multi-meters, meggers, testers, and other basic testing and troubleshooting instruments.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and parts lists.
  • General technical knowledge in fluid power technology, AC/DC circuits, and electro/mechanical devices.
  • You are meant for this job if:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years’ experience with electrical systems and maintenance
  • Experience with PLCs, SCRs, and MCCs
  • Self-driven, focused on customer service, with ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to travel to customer locations and perform work at off-site locations. Hours may vary based on customer demands, some overtime will be required.
  • Valid driver’s license and must maintain satisfactory MVR in accordance with Company Fleet Policy
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write and speak English
  • Demonstrates strong mechanical and technological aptitudes
  • PC Skills with functional knowledge of MS Office products.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong problem solving skills with the ability to develop creative solutions to optimize limited resources.
