For further information, please visit: www.rws.com About this opportunity: We are currently seeking a highly skilled Freelance Translator with native-level proficiency in Brazilian Portuguese, fluent in English and experience in the IT industry. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with big clients and contribute to exciting projects in the industry. Responsibilities: o Translate complex scientific texts and documents from Brazilian Portuguese to English and vice versa. o Ensuring accuracy and maintaining the intended meaning of the original content. o Collaborate with the project team to ensure deadlines are met and project objectives are archived. o Utilize your knowledge of IT terminology to accurately and precisely translate documents Requirements: o Native-level proficiency in Brazilian Portuguese and fluency in English. o Based in Brazil o At least 3 years of professional IT translation experience o Strong knowledge of terminology and concepts o A degree in Translation or equivalent experience and training o Excellent communication and writing skills o Experience with CAT tools (especially Trados) o Able to issue invoices o Trados license - version min. 2019 If you’re interested in this opportunity and it sounds like the right fit for you, please apply via (attach CV in English version).
