DevOps Go Important Information Location: Brazil Job Mode: Full-time Work Mode: Work from home Job Summary The team is looking for a Software Engineer to join our group in developing and maintaining the backend infrastructure for deploying and maintaining hundreds of Kubernetes clusters that host our applications on the multi-cloud platform of Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google GCP. Responsibilities and Duties Build, maintain, and scale Go clients/projects and their support tools; Contribute to the company infrastructure to develop and manage it; Collaborate with team members to discuss and implement service improvements and research new tools and services to solve sophisticated problems properly; Ship incrementally and often, helping the team to maintain a constant flow of feedback on its work; Work in an agile environment with a DevOps approach—teams build and maintain their own software, including participating in second-layer support rotations; Work with a DevOps approach - we build and maintain our team's software, including taking turns being on-call, and tailoring our on-call alert policies to prevent pager-fatigue. Essential Skills Software engineering experience. Proficiency with Golang, Bash and experience developing and deploying services with Terraform. Java knowledge is also welcome; Experience with containerization tools- Kubernetes, Istio, Cluster API, Crossplane, etc; Solid background in application and system programming, and Linux system administration; Involvement in building Infrastructure as Code (IAC); Ability to learn new coding languages; Deep understanding of security, reliability, performance and cost-effectiveness of distributed systems on public cloud providers like; Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google GCP; Experience working with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Travis CI, Circle CI, API design and development exposure with Go programming language; Solid understanding of the Linux operating system and concepts such as virtual machines and containers. Additional Skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment leveraging Agile and DevOps methods and culture.
