Purpose of the Role:
The Decommissioning Contract Specialist is engineering specialist who supervise projects and make sure that the contract terms address all the client's requirements.
The main work is to develop, implement and review contracts, make sure that best practices are applied on any given project; and to make all the revisions available to all the parties involved in the project. They also consult with technical staff on various products and applications; manage sub-contract labour and suppliers, handle complaints from the client. They must deal with issues that may compromise the project start and completion date, payment of a contract, invoicing, non-chargeable expenses, as well as any labour or equipment costs.
Job Function:
• Support decommissioning department to define the scope of work and the needs.
• Launch the Requests for Tenders for large equipment for projects and Complex services.
• Ensure Terms and Conditions are endorsed by Supplier.
• Draft the Contracts for Services in general.
• Negotiate Terms and Conditions with Legal dept. inputs in the required clauses.
• Prepare the Bid Evaluation Table gathering Commercial, Technical and Contractual terms.
• Ensure the proper confirmation of Contract receipt by Supplier.
• Ensure each Contract is backed-up in SAP.
• Participate to updating KPIs.
• Contract milestone payments follow up.
• Capable to foresee and prevent Contracts inconsistencies.
• Keep up to date with technological and environmental developments within our applied industry.
• Take responsibility for the attendance of regular contract meetings to establish project status and conditions.
Qualification & Experience:
• BSc in Engineering.
• Specialty in Legal / Contract.
• Previous expirience within Contracts & Procurement in Oil & Gas sector.
• Technical Oil and Gas industry knowledge.
• Fluent in English.
• Proficiency in SAP environment (MM).
• Knowledge in Finance / Cost Controlling.
• Experience with Legal interfaces.
• Good and comprehensive knowledge of suppliers installed systems.
