JOB PURPOSE Purpose of this position is managing in all aspects the Procurement and Logistic departments assuring FPSO will be fully supported, ensuring the uninterrupted continuity of the operation Plan, organize, direct and control the Supply Chain activities in the respective region or country. Responsible for managing a SC team that might consist of both Purchasers, Expeditors, Contract Administrators and Logistics Coordinators doing Supply Chain activities such as procurement expediting, logistics, warehousing and material handling. Ensure the team attends to, and closes out, Supply Chain process deliverables such as Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders in a timely manner, meeting all KPIs set for Supply Chain Ensure the team is compliant to all MISC policies, procedures, and internal compliance requirements. Support Supply Chain KL in implementing changes to business processes, systems, and procedures. Provide regular status and progress updates to Financial Manager as required. Actively pursue the development and implementation of local Supply Chain practices in alignment with global best practice and procedures to meet the strategic objectives of the Company Contribute ideas for improvement of best practices in general in Supply Chain. Acquire local as well as global vendor market knowledge and maintain vendor relations as required. Maintain total responsibility for the local and/or regional Tax Suspension regimen (if any) Take full responsibility for local content requirements from a SC point of view, if required Work very closely with Global Sourcing to ensure relevant frame agreements are negotiated and implemented and ensure full compliance where relevant. Ensure adequate staffing and provide general supervision to functional staff, ensuring support and guidance with career development. Responsible for onshore warehousing and flow of goods to and from vessel. This includes return goods from vessel for scrapping, refurbishment, or storage (reverse logistics). Responsible for training and education for the local Supply Chain team where relevant in i.e. processes, procedures and systems. This includes supporting the preparation of training materials and conducting training sessions. Liaise with other stakeholders as required (Operations, Project, Finance, Legal, Business, Development, Estimating, Engineering etc). Work very closely with Corporate SC to ensure full alignment and cooperation internally in SC Ensure the vendor based utilized in supporting the needs of the operation is qualified to meet the company standards and all relevant procedures are followed to accomplish the process. Other duties as assigned. JOB REQUIREMENTS Excelent knowledge of the local supply market for the oil & gas industry and general knowledge to the international oil & gas supplier. Previous experience in offshore oil and gas industry is an advantage, principally in FPSO business. Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Economy. Master's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or Commercial Negotiations. Previous experience with REPETRO. Strong experience, primarily in the area of procurement. International exposure is advantageous given MISC global footprint. Exposure to enterprise resource planning (ERP) & associated tools is beneficial. Familiar with the terminology of the oil & gas industry. Some technical knowledge/understanding of the oil & gas industry is an advantage. Experience in enterprise resource planning (ERP) & associated tools is mandatory Good interpersonal and communication skills. Solution oriented with good negotiation skills. Able to work independently as well as in team. Structured and organised, with good attention to details. Work Location: Barra da Tijuca
