Our client Beerenberg is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join their expanding operations in Brazil. This role will involve managing projects within the oil and gas sector and collaborating closely with our management team on sales and marketing initiatives. Fluency in both English and Portuguese is essential for effective communication and coordination with stakeholders in Brazil.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate project activities from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Collaborate with the management team to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.
Conduct periodic offshore visits to monitor project progress and address any operational issues.
Demonstrate fiscal acumen by managing project budgets and resources efficiently.
Participate in business development activities, contributing to the growth of our operations in the region.
Work independently while maintaining a high level of accountability and professionalism.
Requirements:
Fluency in English (written and verbal) and Portuguese is essential.
Technical degree in Engineering or related field.
Proven track record in project management within the oil and gas industry.
Strong understanding of project financials and cost management.
Ability to adapt to flexible work hours and occasional offshore visits.
Proficiency in basic IT tools and applications.
Experience in sales and marketing is preferred.
Located in Rio de Janeiro (candidates in the Macaé area willing to commute will also be considered).
