The Lead Project Manager Specialist is responsible for providing operational and technical project planning, management, and oversight for all key packages, initiatives, and implementation in support of the overall project delivery. Ensuring that these initiatives and projects are completed on-time, within scope and budget, and with an extremely high quality of deliverables.

The LPMS will ensure the optimum mix of cost, schedule, performance, and system supportability throughout the life cycle (tender, design, development, evaluation, production, and execution of each package).

The LPMS shall work closely with the Project Management Team and support functions such as Quality, HSE, Engineering and Sourcing, Finance, etc., to support the overall project deliverables.

The LPMS actuation permeates all phases of delivery including Bid to Execute, configuration and build, testing and verification, and in conjunction with Services, the deployment of systems and equipment.

As a Lead Project Manager Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Evaluating complex situations using multiple sources of information, filtering, validating, and interpreting dynamic material, escalating appropriately delivery impediments, contractual, commercial and technical risks, issues, and changes associated with the project lifecycle.
  • Leading and motivating cross-functional teams and interacting with all levels.
  • Assigning and monitoring work of project personnel, ensuring that project steps are in alignment with business objectives, on-time and within budget.
  • Instigating and driving a method of project change management recording including ownership of documentation, delay & disruption, deviation.
  • As part of Bid to Execute, defining project scope, deliverables, roles, and responsibilities in collaboration with stakeholders and business partners.
  • Defining, acquiring, and allocating budget, staff, and other resources necessary to accomplish the goals and/or objectives of the program group/function and monitoring performance across resource channels.
  • Designing, implementing, and continuously improving processes to monitor and control resources, budget, risks, and value to Business Objectives.
  • Ensuring all the required products are produced and reviewed, including the technical leadership of requirements management, design, implementation, system integration, verification, test, quality assurance, delivery, operations, and sustainment of the technical solution.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Administration or Engineering from an accredited university or college.
  • Related experience.
  • Microsoft Suite (Advanced Excel) and Oracle.
  • Fluent English.
  • Robust experience as a Project Manager with gradually increasing responsibilities and a demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, artefacts, and tools.
  • Ability to independently manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as a liaison between support functions.
  • Demonstrated ability in interpersonal relations, strategic planning, risk management, change management, project management.
  • Full understanding of Subsea System development lifecycle best practices; knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

Also, it would be nice if you have:

  • MBA or Master's degree in Project Management or Business.
  • PMI or similar certification.
  • Subsea Flexible line products knowledge.
  • Budget and Cost Control experience.
  • Demonstrated Leadership in a matrix environment.
  • Diligent, dedicated, and detail-oriented.
